For a select number of days each year, The Angel Nyack becomes a truly wonderful,unique location to get married in the heart of charming Nyack on the Hudson.
Celebrations here take advantage of many different spaces in and around this beautiful, historic building.

We make sure that the entire day – from morning prep to photos, from ceremony to cocktail hour and reception – is not only magical, but comfortable for you and your guests.

CEREMONY

The Angel Nyack is a non-denominational arts space that is welcoming to all – and we definitely welcome your creativity in crafting the perfect day! Here are some elements to take advantage of…

The Sanctuary Theater retains many of the visual elements that were part of the original Romanesque church built in 1901. Golden light fills the space through enormous stained-glass windows.

A prominent organ makes for a dramatic photo backdrop and can be played to welcome you down the aisle.

Thanks to the warm wood that make up the curved pews and vaulted ceiling, amazing acoustics will enhance any musical element you feature in your program.

Cocktail hour

During the warmer months, you and your guests can enjoy a first cocktail/mocktail after the ceremony in the front garden of The Angel Nyack. It’s also a great place for some of your guests to chill out from the dancing later.

If things are cool or rainy, guests can mingle post-ceremony indoors, with drinks served from the quaint Lovatt Chapel.

Reception

Dinner and dancing is served up in The Pitkin Room, a beautiful space with a high vaulted ceiling. It is a perfect, multi-purpose space that can be configured and decorated to suit your vision.

The space is ideal for up to 90 seated guests, which includes a dance floor. Cocktail style receptions can accommodate 120 guests.

Two kitchen spaces make it ideal for caterers to flex their culinary chops – and serve the kind of food that you and your family and friends will truly enjoy!

The Angel Nyack is proud to partner with The Day of Company. The Day of Company’s entire focus is making sure that weddings – especially in unique DIY spaces – go off without a hitch.

Day of Logo An experienced coordinator will start working with you months before the actual day to create a timeline and button up the details. This ensures that everything and everyone stays on track, including the welcome dinner, hair/makeup prep, photography, florals, music/entertainment, catering/bar service and any other special highlights you might have planned for your guests.

Please note: This service is already factored into the overall cost.

Pick your color! LED lights on the top of the molding in the Pitkin Room can be adjusted by color, tone, and brightness. Same for lights on the front of the building.

Accessibility at The Angel

Accessibility

An ADA-compliant bathroom is available. Guests with wheelchairs will be able to access both the Sanctuary Theater and Pitkin Room via outdoor ramps. Unfortunately, the two rooms are not yet connected on the inside, so guests will need to exit the building via one ramp and then re-enter using the second. Plans are in place to add indoor ramping in 2026.

Fall 2025 and Spring 2026: $8,500

Includes use of the front garden, Sanctuary Theater (Ceremony & Cocktail Hour), Pitkin Room (Reception), two kitchens, upstairs & downstairs lounges, private bathroom, and courtyard for one day from 10am -12am. Includes fee for “Day of Company” event coordinator. Guests: up to 120

Starting Fall 2026: $14,500

Will include use of the front garden, Sanctuary Theater (for Ceremony & Reception), Pitkin Room (for Cocktail Hour), two kitchens, upstairs & downstairs lounges, private bathroom, and courtyard for one day from 10am – 12am. Includes fee for “Day of Company” event coordinator. Guests: up to 145
